50 designers from more than 10 countries got together during the Seoul Design Olympiad to develop inclusive thinking and to meet a big challenge — designing for leisure, pleasure and social interaction for all.
Throughout the two days of the event, there is an amazing feeling of inspiration and energy. It’s a casual atmosphere where new friends are made and new colleagues discovered. It’s this that sets Semi-Permanent apart, a shared feeling that you belong to a community.
Aspiring artists and performers from Auckland’s urban ethnic communities worked with the best of contemporary UK talent to create an album and live performance.

D-Fuse worked with 4 local artists (VJ, 1 animator, 1 film-maker, 1 sound artist) over 6 days to create audiovisual impressions of the city – “Endless Cities”, which was then performed live with the local sound artist at Zouk Club KL on 5 April to over 200 audience members.

This project examines the idea of heritage and contemporary urban life and will explore practical solutions for the development of George Town as a creative heritage city.
Helping Malaysian writers tell the stories of their lives in their city, UK writers Jeremy Sheldon and Sarah Butler were in Kuala Lumpur for two weeks, running workshops for over 200 aspiring and advanced writers.
