Vic­tory Monu­ment is one of Bangkok’s busiest inter­sec­tions with thou­sands of Skytrain, bus and car com­muters passing through each day, together with hun­dreds of vendors who ply their trade there. It is also known as the ‘zero marker’ for the centre of Thai­l­and, the start­ing point from which all dis­tances are measured.

Vic­tory Monu­ment is Bangkok’s zero-marker: a transit hub, mar­ket place, social space and mys­ter­i­ous monu­ment. Apostrophe’S and artist Maria Stukoff are plan­ning a rad­ical ‘cre­at­ive infec­tion’ to engage the site’s users with the envir­on­mental, cul­tural and social impact of the site.
